올해는 소파 방정환 선생이 어린이날을 제정한 지 100주년이 되는 해입니다.
말맛과 글맛이 살아 있는 방정환 선생의 문학을 세계 언어권으로 번역하여 널리 보급해 보고자 합니다. 우리나라 어린이날을 주창하고 제정한 방정환 선생의 삶과 문학이 녹아 들어가 있는 작품을 매해 선정하여 세계 언어권으로 번역하고 국제적으로 공유해 나가고자 합니다.
방정환과 세계를 연결하는 소중한 기획이 꽃필 수 있도록 번역자 여러분의 많은 지원을 기다립니다.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Children's Day by Bang Junghwan, a pioneer of children's literature in Korea. The Bang Junghwan Research Institute was founded to familiarize readers and writers of children’s literature with the lively taste of his works, and to facilitate their translation into other languages. By reading them together in an annual international gathering, it is the goal we have set ourselves to achieve.
Translators who participate in this project will help connect the world with the mind of Bang Junghwan and his support of children's literature.

? Award : KW 2,000,000
*Translations must include Bang Junghwan's profile and introduction.
*Translations will belong to the organizers, and free for public view on (pending) website.
