History

The Literature Translation Institute of Korea is an institution that
implements the Korean government's aim to spread Korean literature and culture globally, contributing to the formation of world culture.

  • Integration of the Advanced Course in Cultural Contents Translation with the Regular Course (7 languages, 60-week course)
  • 2022
  • Special Course renamed as Evening Course
  • Revising the curriculum of the Advanced Course in Cultural Contents Translation (4 → 6 languages, 24 weeks → 30 weeks)
  • 2021
  • Cultural Contents Translation Academy renamed as Advanced Course in Cultural Contents Translation and its curriculum expanded (3 → 4 languages / Duration: 12 → 24 weeks) courses

  • Establishment of the Cultural Contents Translation Academy (3 languages)
  • Expansion of language options in the Regular Course (5 → 7 languages)
  • Operating short-term practical programs for minority languages (4 languages)
  • Collaborating with the Center for Critical Foreign Language Education at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Establishment of Short-term Practical Program (2 languages)
